The Shakedown is located at the 4-H Community Center, 2605 York Road.
Directions to site:
Take your best route to Helena, Montana. If you are coming from the east, enter I-15 going North. Go ¾ of a mile & take the Cedar Street exit. If you are coming from the North or South, also take the Cedar Street exit. Go straight toward the Airport (Washington Street) & continue until you reach Custer Ave. Turn right onto Custer & continue on Custer until you can take a left turn on York Road. Go about two miles & take a right onto Tizer Road. This road will begin to curve to the right, but go straight & the Community Center will be the green faced Quonset hut on the left. If you are coming from the west, follow Hwy 12 West into town until you reach Henderson Ave. Turn left on Henderson (the second traffic light). Follow Henderson until you reach Custer Ave (the fairgrounds). Turn right & follow Custer through town until you reach York Road & follow directions as above. There will be signs posted at key roads.
Stage Information:
Besides having the stage available, if you have a larger troupe, we also have floor space in front of the stage available for dancing.
The stage's dance-able area is 13' x 16'. There are four access points to the stage, with two being backstage.
The stage is carpeted with an unpadded, low-pile berber style carpet, so it's perfect for dancers, even for floor work!
